The Paragon Method is Life Source Chiropractic’s personalized approach to back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and disc-related pain in Omaha. Pain does not always come from one source. Disc problems, nerve irritation, injured or tight muscles, weakness, posture, and spinal movement may all play a role. A treatment you’ve tried before may have addressed one piece while leaving other contributing factors untouched.
That’s why we take time to understand how pain affects your daily life and what your exam findings show as to the cause of your problem. Your care may combine corrective chiropractic care, spinal decompression, corrective physical therapy, and spinal molding. SoftWave may also be considered when appropriate. We choose each treatment based on what you need.
Your plan is designed to help relieve pain, improve how you move and function, and support lasting progress in as few visits as your progress allows—so you can spend more time doing what matters to you.
Watch Dr. Jason Wiese explain how the Paragon Method works.
The Paragon Method combines multiple forms of care based on your individual findings rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

The method draws from several therapies. Your plan may include some of them, based on your history, examination and goals.
Specific chiropractic techniques selected for your examination findings and movement needs.
A noninvasive, guided traction option that may be considered for certain disc-related concerns.
Targeted movement and exercise designed to support strength, control and everyday function.
Positioning techniques used as part of an individualized spinal care plan when appropriate.
SoftWave may be recommended as an additional option for certain patients after an evaluation. It can be considered alongside other therapies when it fits your findings and goals.

Leg pain, tingling, or numbness can have different causes. We look at your history, symptoms, movement, and exam findings before recommending a next step. Depending on the findings, care may include chiropractic treatment, corrective exercises, spinal decompression, or a combination that we use in our Paragon Method. These care options are noninvasive and do not involve medication or surgery.

Often, yes. Research shows that many people with sciatica caused by a lumbar disc herniation improve with conservative care. The Paragon Method starts with your symptoms and exam findings, then brings together appropriate noninvasive treatments to help ease pain and improve movement. We track your progress and adjust your care to fit your response.

An imaging report showing disc degeneration does not, by itself, tell us what is causing your pain or which care you need. We ask where the pain occurs, whether it travels into a leg, which movements make it worse, and what activities it limits. A focused exam helps us decide whether exercises, chiropractic care, or another noninvasive option fits your findings. Movement is also part of maintaining normal disc function: changes in position and load affect how fluid moves in and out of the discs, a process often called imbibition. We review your response and adjust the recommendation as needed.

There is no standard combination for everyone. The Paragon Method starts with an individual evaluation. Chiropractic care alone may fit some patients; others may benefit from adding corrective physical therapy, spinal decompression, spinal molding, or another appropriate option. We explain why we recommend each part of your care.
We cannot give an accurate number before evaluating you. Your symptoms, findings, goals, and response to care all matter. We recommend a plan that fits your needs, review your progress, and aim for lasting improvement in as few visits as your progress allows.
